If you like burgers, you will love Thrill grill! This restaurant was founded by famous Dutch TV chef Robert Kranenborg. The burgers cost no more than 10 euros, without salad our fries. All ingredients are additive-free, locally sourced and environmentally friendly. There is also a veggie and vegan option if you want to skip the meat. There are different options for fries, like the umami fries or the fries & peanut sauce (a Dutch delicacy).

Spaghetteria serves different kinds of pastas with seasonal ingredients. In summer you can enjoy your pasta on a picknick bench outside for the true Italian experience.

Kevin Bacon is a great spot if you are a fan of the Thai kitchen. This restaurant wants to be ‘the Kevin Bacon of bars’, which means no pretentions, just getting the job done. Kevin Bacon might not be all that special, we love their food and drinks. Besides great curries Kevin Bacon also serves great cocktails.

The Netherlands and Suriname are closely linked, because until 1975 Suriname was a constituent country of the Netherlands. Therefore, there are lots of great Surinam restaurants in Amsterdam. Waterkant is one of them. The restaurant is open from 11 am untill 10 pm and serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. In summer you can enjoy your meal outside by the water, which make Waterkant a great place to be. Every Friday and Saturday Waterkant hosts club nights, where you can dance to great tropical music.
